The names and identities of the Cairns Crusader and associated family have been changed - to protect the anonymity of this hero. From what we know, the Crusaders history is a proud one... from a prominent Cairns family with history dating back to the late 1800's the Crusaders family were pioneers.
A lot of people will wonder why CC's colours are fiery red and Gold... The crusader knows that the Colours of the region are stereotypically reef blue and rainforest green, but the Cairns Crusader draws his inspiration and passion from the Canefires that forged our past. The Crusader wants to body that passion and use it to stand out, like our region does, and acknowledge our past while stepping forward into the future.
